Why Resin?

As a resin artist, I’d describe resin as one of the most magical mediums to work with because it’s alive in its own way. When you pour it, it flows freely-sometimes exactly how you imagined, and other times it takes on a life of its own. That unpredictability is what makes each piece one-of-a-kind. Sometimes it is a complete mess, that’s ok because mistakes help us learn.

Resin has a depth and luminosity you can’t quite capture in any other medium. Colors become richer, sparkles look endless, and layers come alive like they’re floating in glass. It’s glossy, strong, and timeless—perfect for capturing beauty in a way that feels organic to me. I love to sparkle, so many of my pieces shine bright!

But what I love most is that no piece is ever completely flawless. Tiny color variations, unexpected swirls, or unique textures remind me that it’s handmade, created with intention, but finished with my own style. That’s why resin art is “imperfectly perfect” to me—because the imperfections are what give it soul and heart. They tell the story of how it was made, and that story can’t be replicated by anyone- not even me!
